I got woke up hearing "Tell me who, who, who? Who's getting all your time? Who's getting all of my residuals? The Holy Spirit began to pour that we have to get spiritually disciplined. Disciplined in giving our time to God. Disciplined in reading our bibles. Disciplined in our prayer life. Disciplined in our worship. Disciplined in our praise. Disciplined in our fasting.

I have not heard that song in years, but God is funny in how he reaches us. People had no problem singing about how they never received what they deserved for what they put into a relationship. God is saying he deserves residuals more than anyone. He literally gives us breath every day. We decide after that daily miracle to give time to foolish things without making time for God. Giving people all this praise and not thinking twice that you haven't thanked or showed appreciation to God.

God deserves so much more from us. It's sad that we have to think about calculating God into our day. It should be as natural as waking up, but God gives us free will. For the ones that have been doing everything you know how to build and strengthen your relationship with God. It is time to get spiritual disciplined. Answering God on the first call without questions. Using the tools of reading your bible, praying, worshipping, praising God and fasting. To get close with him daily. Tell God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit thank you and you love them. God just wants an authentic relationship with us.

The word of God is exactly what you should be looking for when you enter into a church. Everything that God pours even the Holy Spirit will follow. We have got lost in being entertained so much that we even think this is what should be happening in church. You should be focused on worshiping, praising, praying, and getting fed with the word of God. The word of God can be checked up on, learned, and get revelation for yourself. The person teaching should be not just saying it but letting you know where to find it. For you to go back and look at it for yourself.

This is also the importance of bible study and Sunday school. These are the places where you will get teachings about the bible. Where you can learn the bible side by side with other believers and ask questions. Get insight from the wisdom of seasoned members. In learning the word of God. You give yourself an advantage because you know what God has said for yourself. People can't deceive you with their entertaining show because you know God for yourself.

Now I will remind you that the devil was once an angel. He knows the word of God as well and he will use it against you. He will go to God and hold him to his word so make sure as you learn you begin to honor it in your life. There will also be people among you that know the word inside and out, but do not live it. As you connect and grow in your relationship with God you have to ask for discernment. That you are able to see if God is in what you are hearing. Pray that you don't get manipulated and mislead by false prophets.

I heard a prophetic word yesterday that said we ask that our spiritual ears and eyes be opened but God gave us 5 senses. For our discernment to be strengthened we need to pray to God that he opens up all our senses spiritually. Just like we need all of them in the natural we need them all in the spiritual as well. Ask God to not only open up your spiritual eyes, and spiritual ears, but also your spiritual smell, spiritual taste, and spiritual touch.

I was in a worker's meeting last week and the teachings I received were not only amazing but confirmational. Every day I have been receiving enlightening teachings that also confirm what God said to me directly. I spoke it and believed I would not leave out of March without my breakthrough. As I was overcome by the holy spirit yesterday, I just knew it was the end of the month. Little did I know God had another day to pour into me before the month was over.

Last night a storm hit. The lightning struck the electrical poles near our house and knocked out the power. As the thunder shook the sky and the rain fell. I just said, "reign God". I knew he wanted it to be quiet so we could spend the night with him. I lit some candles and smiled. In excitement and expectancy of what God was going to do. Songs that we sand in praise and worship service at church kept popping up in my mind. I would just sing them in gratefulness.

I got off my phone to make sure I could set an alarm for the morning. I thought about what we would need to do if the power didn't come back on as far as the food and charging. I went about my workout and worshipping God and the power came back on. I chuckled because I had just thought about washing clothes and thought I can't because the power was out. I was welcoming that excuse for why it didn't get done today. God has a sense of humor. I say all this to say. Make sure you have all your senses open spiritually today to receive God.

Let me know what's on your mind
