The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. That is how the majority of us live our life. Furious that things aren't changing never realizing that neither are we. To receive something you never had, you are going to have to do something you have never done.

Just look at the thing that has had you feeling some type of way for the last few years or even months. I know as you think on it you are getting aggravated. Now think, have you approached it the same way every time? Yep, I can see the light ball lighting up. It may be wrong also how it is being handles or done. You want a different outcome though, right?

I know your first instinct is to address it with the anger you feel. How about you look at it like they aren't just trying to find a way to piss you off. I know what else could it be, because you have addressed it a million times. Consider it may be that as soon as you show anger they shut out what you are saying. I use to be the Queen of yelling it because you don't hear me when I just asked. It changed absolutely nothing.

I just got what was pent up inside me out and they just went about their day. You really do get more done with being sweet. Even when you don't want to lol. When I started addressing things different I would often walk away rolling my eyes and thinking all the hateful things I wanted to say. I really had to come to the understanding no one is me. Not even my siblings. We all were living different experiences in the same moment. Our perspective, thinking, logic, and heart towards things are all different.

It may be important to you but they may not care about it at all. If you look at it that way just them being there because they love you means a lot. Or that they are doing it because you want it done. I have found appreciation in my husband putting his dirty dish in the kitchen. Not in the sink where it belongs lol, but just making it to the kitchen. In his mind he will get it eventually, and it will sit where ever he was until his space needs to be cleaned. He knows I hate having to round up the dishes throughout the house when I go to clean the kitchen. So slowly but surely they have been making it to the kitchen. I am grateful for that.

So next time before you spazz out because something is happening that you don't like. Take a breath, ask for help don't demand it. Even from your children. We are looking for progress not insanity.

When it is time there is nothing, you can do about it. God has a plan and there is nothing that can stop it. Our disobedience can definitely cause delay, but God is God. If you walk in obedience, you will be prepared when your time comes.

Opportunities will show up and things you worked on years ago will be needed. As you were working on them you had no idea why. You gave it everything you had any way. I won't say it wasn't discouraging. To feel you worked on something for no reason because at the time your life did not match what you were doing.

Then the moment shows up to where it is needed, and you are glad you listened. Obedience conquers feeling overwhelmed when opportunity shows up. God gives you instructions so that you are prepared. He will never set you up for failure. The grace of God will even carry you through things you don't know. God asks that you show up and trust who he is, and the rest will be handled.

I can't wait to be able to share my story and yours about all God has done. Just sit together in awe of who God is. Nobody greater, nobody greater Jesus, nobody greater than you. Nothing can stop God's plan when it is time.

We are in the time of do it for the gram or being TikTok famous. We want to look the part whether we are living it or not. We think getting money will save us. Well t truth is even if you get money and have a poverty mindset it will not make a difference. You will never be stable because you will always live to impress people.

I know the truth hurts sometimes. We chase money, and always getting to the bag. To the point you lose sight of God. Whatever you think success looks like if you are spiritually empty it will mean nothing once you get there.

I had a dream the other day. It was a bunch of people looking to this Hero. They were looking to the Hero to save them. He was giving them directions and they were still dying. They were asking him, why aren't you saving us? He was using them as puzzle pieces for his bigger picture. He looked the part but he wasn't a hero.

We are so quick to turn to someone for help that looks the part or looks like money. When all we had to do was ask God. Ask God for help, discernment, direction. God could have turned it around, but you are looking for money to save you.

Let me know what's on your mind
